email: { type: Email },\n});\n```\n\nStandard other mongoose stuff works fine too:\n\n```\nlet MySchema = new Schema({\n  email: {\n    type: Email,\n    required: [true, 'email is required'],\n    unique: [true, 'this email is already use'],\n  },\n});\n```\n\n## Error\n\nOn validation run (mongoose insert), if an item has a bad mail format, you'll get the full explicit error with
