The client will (re)connect for you.\n await rcon.broadcast(\"Hello, HLL!\")\n await rcon.change_map(Layer.STALINGRAD_WARFARE_DAY)\n players = await rcon.get_players()\n\n # Close the connection\n rcon.disconnect()\n\n\n # Alternatively, use the context manager interface to avoid\n # having to manually disconnect.\n async with rcon.connect():\n assert rcon.is_connected() is True\n await rcon.broadcast(\"Hello, HLL!\")\n\n\nif __name__ == \"__main__\":\n # Run the program\n asyncio.run(main())\n```\n\nFor integration of synchronous applications, a `SyncRcon` class is provided.\n\n```py\nfrom hllrcon.sync import SyncRcon\n\nrcon = SyncRcon(\n host=\"127.0.0.1\",\n port=12345,\n password=\"your_rcon_password\",\n)\n\n# Connect and send a broadcast message\nwith rcon.connect():\n rcon.broadcast(\"Hello, HLL!\")\n```\n\nThe library contains a swathe of details about in-game maps, factions, weapons, vehicles, and more. Below is just an example of what it might be used for.\n\n```py\nfrom hllron import Weapon\n\n# Find a weapon by its ID\nweapon_id = \"COAXIAL M1919 [Stuart M5A1]\"\nweapon = Weapon.by_id(weapon_id)\n\n# Print out whichever vehicle seat the attacker must have been in, if any\nif weapon.vehicle:\n for seat in weapon.vehicle.seats:\n if weapon in seat.weapons:\n print(\"This weapon belongs to the\", seat.type.name, \"seat\")\n break\n```\n```py\nfrom hllrcon import Rcon, Map, Team\n\n# Get the AA Network capture zone (SMDM, 3rd sector, 2nd capture zone)\nsector = Layer.STMARIEDUMONT_WARFARE_DAY.sectors[2]\ncapture_zone = sector.capture_zones[1]\nassert capture_zone.strongpoint.name == \"AA Network\"\n\n# Get the current online players\nrcon = Rcon(...)\nplayers = await rcon.get_players()\n\n# Calculate each team's capture strength towards the sector\nstrength = {Team.ALLIES: 0, Team.AXIS: 0}\nfor player in players.players:\n if player.faction is None:\n continue\n\n if player.world_position == (0.0, 0.0, 0.0):\n # Player is dead. Note: Does not exclude players bleeding out\n continue\n\n # Grant 3 strength if inside the strongpoint\n if capture_zone.strongpoint.is_inside(player.world_position):\n strength[player.faction.team] += 3\n\n # Only grant 1 strength if inside the capture zone\n elif capture_zone.is_inside(player.world_position):\n strength[player.faction.team] += 1\n\n# Print out the results\nprint(\"Allied cap weight:\", strength[Team.ALLIES])\nprint(\"Axis cap weight:\", strength[Team.AXIS])\n```\n\n# Versioning\n\nHell Let Loose (referred to as \"the game\") is a constantly evolving game, and game updates might alter its RCON interfaces in ways that are not backward-compatible.\nThis affects any tools and libraries that depend on it, including this library and any software utilizing it.\n\nReleases of `hllrcon` only guarantee compatibility with the latest version of the game at the time of release. See the release notes of a given version for more\ninformation on what version this is.\n\nThis project uses its own versioning system similar to [Pragmatic Versioning principles](https://pragver.github.io/spec/) (i.e. `GRADE`.`MAJOR`.`MINOR`.`PATCH`).\nHowever, there are differences in the way each of the four components are defined and what they guarantee:\n\n- **`GRADE`** - Reserved for structural changes. Likely to increase only with the release of [Hell Let Loose: Vietnam](https://www.hellletloose.com/game/hll-vietnam).\n- **`MAJOR`** - Incremented when backward-incompatible changes are released.\n- **`MINOR`** - Incremented when support for the previously supported game version is dropped.\n- **`PATCH`** - Incremented when backward-compatible changes are released.\n\nWhen specifying `hllrcon` as a dependency, it is recommended to pin the `MINOR` version but not the `PATCH` version. `MINOR` versions are still backwards-incompatible\nin that they require the game server to be updated. `MINOR` versions may depend on upcoming, unreleased game version.\n\n# License\n\nThis project is licensed under the MIT License.
