Another alternative project to check out is https://github.com/jrowen/rhandsontable\n\nAn R package that integrates Shiny with Handsontable. This package takes the \nunique approach of intelligently calculating the data *that has changed* \non either the client or the server and sending only that data.\n\nThe goal of the project is to provide full support for data.frames (including\nattributes and data types), seamlessly serializing and deserializing these\ndata structures to/from the client for you. Of course, we intend to be\ncompatible with matrices and other table-like structures in R.\n\nWe'll expose as many Handsontable configuration options as is reasonably \npossible including things like sortable, resizeable, and rearrangeable\ncolumns. We hope to fluidly incorporate data validation and other \nadvanced features, as well.\n\n\n## Installation\n\nYou can install the latest version of the code using the `devtools` R package.\n\n```\n# Install devtools, if you haven't already.\ninstall.packages(\"devtools\")\n\nlibrary(devtools)\ninstall_github(\"trestletech/shinyTable\")\n```\n\n## Examples\n\nThere are a few example provided in the `inst/examples` directory of this repository.
