Your application needs to use the client to interact with the server. The client can be found [here](https://github.com/uber/cherami-client-go).\n\nGetting started\n---------------\nTo get cherami-server:\n\n```\ngit clone git@github.com:uber/cherami-server.git $GOPATH/src/github.com/uber/cherami-server\n```\n\nBuild\n-----\nWe use [`glide`](https://glide.sh) to manage Go dependencies. Please make sure `glide` is in your PATH before you attempt to build.\n\n* Build the `cherami-server` and other binaries (will not run test):\n```\nmake bins\n```\n\nLocal Test\n----------\nWe need a Cassandra running locally in order to run the integration tests. Please make sure `cqlsh` is in `/usr/local/bin`, and it can connect to the local Cassandra server.\n```\nmake test\n```\n\nRun Cherami locally\n-------------------\n* Setup the cherami keyspace for metadata:\n```\nRF=1 ./scripts/cherami-setup-schema\n```\n\n* The service can be started as follows:\n```\nCHERAMI_ENVIRONMENT=local ./cherami-server start all\n```\n\nNote: `cherami-server` is configured via `config/base.yaml` with some parameters overriden by `config/local.yaml`. In this config, Cherami is bound to `localhost`.\n\nOne can use the CLI to verify if Cherami is running properly:\n```\n./cherami-cli --env=prod --hostport=127.0.0.1:4922 create destination /test/cherami\n```\n\nDeploy Cherami as a cluster\n---------------------------\nDocumentation coming soon....\n\nContributing\n------------\n\nWe'd love your help in making Cherami great.
