To install dependencies, just simply run `pnpm` in the project root directory.\n\n### Build Nextra Core\n\n```bash\ncd packages/nextra\npnpm build\n```\n\nWatch mode: `pnpm dev`\n\n### Build Nextra Theme\n\n```bash\ncd packages/nextra-theme-docs\npnpm build\n```\n\n| Command           | Description              |\n| ----------------- | ------------------------ |\n| pnpm dev          | Watch mode               |\n| pnpm dev:layout   | Watch mode (layout only) |\n| pnpm dev:tailwind | Watch mode (style only)  |\n\n### Development\n\nYou can also debug them together with a website locally. For instance, to start examples/docs locally, run\n\n```bash\ncd examples/docs\npnpm dev\n```\n\nAny change to example/docs will be re-rendered instantly.\n\nIf you update the core or theme packages, a rebuild is required.
