This allows students to explore how electrical activity is generated by skeletal muscles and recorded through surface electrodes. The simulation covers the entire signal acquisition chain, including electrode placement on specific muscle groups, the application of differential amplifiers to boost weak signals, and the use of frequency filters to eliminate noise such as powerline interference.
