Namely the calculation of track,\nground speed and flight time for a given air speed and heading, given the\ncurrent wind speed and direction.\n\nAs well as calculating the wind effect for a single point, the application\ncan help with ad-hoc navigation (such as diversions) by generating a\ntextual \"wind rose\" that shows the effect of wind in all directions; at\neither 30 or 45 degree intervals.\n\nAs it is an iPhone application, the iPhone SDK is required to build\nWhizWheel. The SDK will also allow WhizWheel to be run on the iPhone\nsimulator.
