No hacks or proprietary software will be used to accomplish this goal.\n\nThis emulator is designed to work \"out of the box\", no plug-in hell required!\n\n## Current Status\n\nCurrently, the emulator can get through the BIOS, but hasn't booted any\ncommercial games yet. A software rasterizer is used to attempt pixel accurate\ngraphical output, the results are quite nice!\n\n![Current status](images/current.png)\n\n## Usage\n\nThe emulator requires a BIOS file, which can be dumped from a physical console.\n\nOnce you have a BIOS file, PSXACT can be invoked via command line, using the\nfollowing simple interface:\n\n```\n$ psxact \u003cbios file here\u003e \u003cgame file here\u003e\n```\n\n## Building\n\nThis project uses CMake for builds, and requires SDL2.\n\nI personally use the `FindSDL2.cmake` script available\n[here](https://github.com/tcbrindle/sdl2-cmake-scripts).\n\n## Contributing\n\nIf you'd like to contribute, please create a fork and issue pull requests!
