It can be\ninstalled using Composer:\n\n```bash\n composer require wieni/wmsubscription\n```\n\n## How does it work?\n### Choosing a provider\nAside from the core package, you'll also need to install a provider module:\n- `wmsubscription_mailchimp`, provides a [MailChimp](https://mailchimp.com) implementation\n- `wmsubscription_campaignmonitor`, provides a [Campaign Monitor](https://www.campaignmonitor.com) implementation\n\nAfter installing a provider module, change the `tool` key in the \n`wmsubscription.settings` config.\n\n### Choosing between direct or queued subscriptions \nWhen calling external API's, it's often a good idea to queue operations so \nthat in case of connection problems, no operations are lost.\n\nBy default, subscriptions are handled immediately after calling \n[`SubscriptionToolInterface::addSubscriber`](src/SubscriptionToolInterface.php).\nThis behaviour can be changed by setting the `manager` key to \n`wmsubscription.manager.queued`. Operations will be added to a queue, \nso make sure cron is executed regularly.\n\nTo make sure visitors cannot subscribe the same email address while the \nprevious operation is still in queue, this module provides a custom queue \ndatabase implementation checking for duplicates. To enable the custom implementation, add the following snippet to your `settings.php`:\n```php\n$settings['queue_service_wmsubscription_subscriptions'] = 'wmsubscription.queue.unique_subscription';\n```\n\n### Dead Letter Queue integration\nThis module provides a submodule that can be used to combine the functionality of the \n[Dead Letter Queue module](https://github.com/wieni/dead_letter_queue) with the unique subscription queue:\n`wmsubscription_dead_letter_queue`. \n\nTo enable this feature, use the following snippet in your `settings.php` instead of the one mentioned \nabove:\n```php\n$settings['queue_service_wmsubscription_subscriptions'] = 'wmsubscription_dead_letter_queue.queue.database';\n```\n\nTo add support for the Dead Letter Queue UI module as well, enable the `wmsubscription_dead_letter_queue_ui` module.\n\n## Changelog\nAll notable changes to this project will be documented in the\n[CHANGELOG](CHANGELOG.md) file.\n\n## Security\nIf you discover any security-related issues, please email\n[security@wieni.be](mailto:security@wieni.be) instead of using the issue\ntracker.\n\n## License\nDistributed under the MIT License.
