It aims to provide these in such a way that it can\nbe used in a variety of different contexts and within projects\nwith different design decisions already in place. The individual\nstructures are largely independant of each other so that any software\nmay decide to only use a subset of the provided options.\n\n## Operating Systems\nWhile this library is written for and has been developed on a Linux\ndistribution, it is inteded to be platform independant. I'm open to\ncontributions that allow this library to be used on other systems,\nprovided that it does not break existing setups (too much).\n\n## Building \u0026 Installation\nCurrently the repository is optimized to be built by the GNU autotools.\nI'm happy to include other mechanisms such as CMake if someone is\nwilling to set that up.\n\nFor building with the autotools, I recommend the following procedure\n```\n# autoreconf --install\n# mkdir build\n# cd build\n# ../configure\n# make\n# sudo make install\n```\n\n## License\n\nCurrently, I have not decided on a license for this project,\nthough as this is available publicly on github, I plan on choosing\na fairly standard open source one. This means that for the meantime\nI tolerate other people using this software, but I still own the\nIP rights to all the code I wrote.\n\n## Notes\n\nThis codebase may contain some code snippets from stackoverflow\nor similar sites. I try to mark all occurences appropriately within\nthe codebase.
