Rather\nunlike `roslaunch`, `rosmon` is focused on (remote) process monitoring.\n\nPlease see the [ROS wiki page](https://wiki.ros.org/rosmon) for further\ninformation, the rest of this README contains information for `rosmon`\ndevelopers.\n\n## Installation \u0026 Quick start\n\nOfficial `rosmon` packages are available. On ROS Kinetic, Melodic, and Noetic (Ubuntu) simply do:\n\n    sudo apt install ros-${ROS_DISTRO}-rosmon\n\nIn case you don't need the rqt GUI, you can install the core package only:\n\n    sudo apt install ros-${ROS_DISTRO}-rosmon-core\n\nAfterwards, try\n\n    # launch one of the rosmon test cases\n    mon launch rosmon_core basic.launch\n\n## Building from source\n\nSimple include this repository in your catkin workspace. `rosmon` depends on\n[rosfmt], so make sure you either have `rosfmt` installed using the ROS packages\nor you compile it from source in your catkin workspace.
