Sure, you could use any\napp with an eyedropper tool, but with this one you'll get all the colors at once (or at least the 500\nmost common colors, but that should be plenty).\n\nYou will also get a list of the colors in the order of appearance\n(starting from top left, going right, then down). This may come in handy if you've got, say, a picture of a gradient\nand you need to extract the color codes from it in order.\n\nAs an added bonus, next to each color name is a link to [colornames.org](https://colornames.org/) where you can check\nwhether someone has named that particular color, or name the color yourself!\n\nHere's an example screenshot picking apart the [old Windows logo](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Windows_Logo_%281992-2001%29.svg),\nas grabbed from Wikipedia in PNG format:\n\n![](windows-logo-colors-broken-apart.png)\n\nStyled with [Simple.css](https://simplecss.org/).\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fzeroone3010%2Fimage-color-breakdown","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fzeroone3010%2Fimage-color-breakdown","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fzeroone3010%2Fimage-color-breakdown/lists"}
