We decided to call our project Olympia.\n## The Front-End:\n### To get started\n- Download and install [node.js](https://nodejs.org/en/) (We're using v16.14.0).\n### To Run\n- cd into the `/web` directory\n- run `npm install`\n- make a file called `.env.local` in `/web` and add this line to it `NEXT_PUBLIC_BASE_URL=\"http://localhost:5000\"` !important\n- run `npm run dev`\n- goto [http://localhost:3000/](http://localhost:3000/)\n## The Back-End (API):\n### To get started\n- Download and install [python](https://www.python.org/downloads/)\n- Install Necessary External Libraries using pip:\n\t- Flask\n\t- flask-cors\n\t- app\n\t- flask-mysql\n\t- PyMySQL\n\t- pyjwt\n\t- bcrypt\n- Ensure the host and password matches your MySQL server in the config.py file.\n### To run\n- Simply run main.py from //BackEnd/API/\n\t- Note: The API runs on localhost port 5000 by default\n## The Database:\n### To get started\n- Download and Install MySQL and MySQL-workbench (https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/)\n\t- You need MySQL(Server,Shell,Router,Workbench) and Connector/Python\n- Perform the necessary steps to launch a local MySQL server on your machine\n- Import our Database from the //Backend/Dumps directory [LATEST_DUMP_11_04_2022.sql]\n\t- You can do this by clicking Server -\u003e Data Import -\u003e from Self-Contained file\n### To run\n- Simply ensure that the server is running on a local port (dependant on OS).\n\t- Windows uses a service model, so ensure the service is running.\n\n\n","project_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fzeyadomran%2Folympia","html_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/projects/github.com%2Fzeyadomran%2Folympia","lists_url":"https://awesome.ecosyste.ms/api/v1/projects/github.com%2Fzeyadomran%2Folympia/lists"}
