Ensure you have a local Jenkins instance running on `http://localhost:8080`.\n2. Install the following VSCode extensions:\n   - [Jenkins Runner](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=dave-hagedorn.jenkins-runner)\n   - [Jenkins Pipeline Linter Connector](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=janjoerke.jenkins-pipeline-linter-connector)\n   - [Code-Groovy](https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=NicolasVuillamy.vscode-groovy-lint)\n3. Copy the contents of `settings.json` into your VSCode settings.\n4. **Important:** Manually create a pipeline job named \"default-pipeline\" in your Jenkins instance. The Jenkins Runner extension will use this job by default.\n\n## Configuration\n\nThe `settings.json` file contains the following configurations:\n\n### Jenkins Runner\n- Host configuration for local Jenkins instance\n- Default job configuration\n\n### Jenkins Pipeline Linter Connector\n- URL for the Pipeline Linter\n- Authentication details for accessing Jenkins\n\n### Code-Groovy for Syntax Highlighting\n- File associations for Jenkinsfile and *.jenkins files to use Groovy syntax highlighting\n\n## Usage\n\nWith these settings in place, you can:\n\n1. Run Jenkins jobs directly from VSCode using the Jenkins Runner extension.\n2. Lint your Jenkinsfile using the Jenkins Pipeline Linter Connector extension.\n3. Enjoy Groovy syntax highlighting for your Jenkinsfile and *.jenkins files.\n\nRefer to the respective extension documentation for detailed usage instructions.\n\n## Security Note\n\nThe current configuration uses plaintext username and password.
