`python-twitch-client` is an easy to use Python library for accessing the
Twitch API

`python-twitch-client` currently supports Twitch API v5 and the new Helix API.
If you find a missing endpoint or a bug please raise an [issue][issues] or

Basic Usage
==============================================
Helix API

from twitch import TwitchHelix
client = TwitchHelix(client_id='')
streams_iterator = client.get_streams(page_size=100)
for stream in islice(streams_iterator, 0, 500):

```
Twitch API v5
```python
from twitch import TwitchClient
client = TwitchClient(client_id='')
channel = client.channels.get_by_id(44322889)
