I use machine learning to accelerate scientific discovery[^hpc]

[^hpc]: Mostly trying to get supercomputers to talk to each other.

I'm currently a [computational scientist](https://alcf.anl.gov/about/people/sam-foreman) in the [Leadership Computing Facility](https://alcf.anl.gov) (ALCF) at Argonne National Laboratory.

My current research interests include machine learning, generative modeling, high-performance computing and lattice quantum chromodynamics (LQCD).

My most recent project involves using ML to build more efficient Markov Chain Monte Carlo sampling techniques for generating gauge configurations in LQCD.
