# Translator [![Titanium](http://www-static.appcelerator.com/badges/titanium-git-badge-sq.png)](http://www.appcelerator.com/titanium/)

A small but helpful script for translating your ([Titanium](http://docs.appcelerator.com/titanium/latest/#!/guide/Titanium_Command-Line_Interface_Reference)) apps.

# How to use

1. Copy the `index.php` to a server.
2. Secure the directory or just make the URL hard to guess :)
3. Replace the `i18n` directory by the one of your app.
4. Point people to the URL to translate the strings.
5. Download the `i18n` directory by appeding `?action=download`.
6. Overwrite the `i18n` directory of your app or extract them somewhere else and use [ti-i18n](https://nodei.co/npm/ti-i18n/) to merge the files if you have made local changes in the mean time.

# Google Translator Toolkit

As an alternative, you could also use [Google Translator Toolkit](http://translate.google.com/toolkit/). It provides automatic translation, translation memory and glossaries. Nice features, but I was in need of a more simple and efficient copy-paste-go solution.
