# Hacks_and_Tricks_Windows
Hello there, This repo contain small scripts or something like that which will definitely help full for windows users. Just follow the instruction of respective Scripts to use them, they are completely free to use. Report bug if appears in any script.

#### [GreetBot.vbs](https://github.com/NIKHIL0VERMA/Hacks_and_Tricks_Windows/blob/main/GreetBot.vbs)
* Open notepad.
* Copy the script.
* Paste it in notepad.
* Change `User = "Nikhil Verma"` with your own name or with user name.
* Save it or Hit ctrl + s.
* Change the file type with _All file type_.
* Name it whatever you want with extension of '.vbs'.
* Save it to any location you want for example at your Desktop.
* Now Cut/Copy the script and paste it to startup folder.
###### Local startup folder
* Now for Windows Xp users only, navigate to `C:\Documents and Settings\\Start Menu\Programs\Startup`.
* For other users navigate to `C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup`.
###### All user startup folder
* Navigate to `C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup`.
* Now reboot your PC to hear the changes.

* Open notepad.
* Copy the script.
* Paste it in notepad.
* Replace _password_ with your own password at line 45 (`if NOT %pass%==password goto FAIL`).
* Save it or Hit ctrl + s.
* Change the file type with _All file type_.
* Name it whatever you want with extension of '.bat'.
* Save it to any location where want to make locker.
* Close notepad and run newly created '.bat' file.
* It will make locker to current location for you.
* Now drop/paste file you want to hide in Locker folder.
* When you done with your files.
* Go back and run '.bat'.
* It will ask you if you want to lock or not press y to lock it.
* All done now folder is locked.
* Re running '.bat' will prompt you for password.
* Type your password and hit enter to unlock the Locker.
**Be sure to hide this batch file else anyone can change your password using edit option**

* Open notepad.
* Copy the script.
* Paste it in notepad.
* Save it or Hit ctrl + s.
* Change the file type with _All file type_.
* Name it whatever you want with extension of '.bat'.
* Save it to any location where want.
* Close notepad and run newly created '.bat' file.
* Enter the required details and hit enter
**Wrong location/no of days/extention without '*.' may result failure.**
**It will directly delete file without sending them to recycle bin.**
