# TEI-OCR XML schema

TEI-OCR is a TEI customization for metadata originating from processes commonly

run as part of a optical character recognition pipeline. It offers support for

a number of advanced features:

* process identification through responsibility statements

* grapheme level encoding

* glyphs without Unicode code points

* variants on any element (line, segment, and grapheme)
