# Sitecore configuration consolidator (offline ShowConfig)

1. Place *Sitecore.Kernel.dll* in the folder with the *ScShowConfig* executable

2. Run the application and select an *App_Config* folder to consolidate (make sure that the entire  configuration element is stored in */App_Config/Sitecore.config*)

3. The application writes the consolidated configuration to *output.xml*
