# Script2Pkg

This application is designed to help you with the process of creating [payload-free installer packages](https://github.com/SAP/script-to-package-tool-for-macos/wiki/Glossary#payload-free-installer-package) for macOS.

**Script2Pkg has multiple configuration options and can be configured for the following:**

* Notifying you when packages are created.
* Choosing where newly-created installer packages are stored.
* How to handle cases where an existing package has the same name as the package youโ€™re creating.
* Setting a specific package identifier.
* Setting a specific package version.
* Choosing if the packages created by this tool will create an installer package receipt.
