## Installation
> Prerequisites

> Setup
1. **Clone the repository**

cd JILancer

2. **backend setup**
```bash
cd backend
python3 -m venv venv
venv\Scripts\activate
pip install -r requirements.txt
```
3. **Run migrations to set up the database:**
```bash
python manage.py migrate
Start the Django server:
```
4. **Run backend**
```bash
python manage.py runserver
```
5. **Frontend setup**
>on new terminal navigate to the frontend folder:
```bash
# install dependencies
npm install
# Start the React development server:
npm start
```
> Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 to see the application in action.
