# ResumeSkillFinder

### Prerequisites
- Python 3.8+
- Node.js 14+### Backend Setup
1. Clone the repository:
```bash
git clone https://github.com/yourusername/ResumeSkillFinder.git
cd ResumeSkillFinder/backend
```2. Create and activate a virtual environment:
```bash
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate # On Windows, use `venv\Scripts\activate`
```3. Install the required dependencies:
```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
```4. Run the Flask API:
```bash
flask run
```### Frontend Setup
1. Navigate to the frontend directory:
```bash
cd ../frontend
```2. Install the dependencies:
```bash
npm install
```3. Start the development server:
```bash
npm run dev
```## Usage
1. Ensure both the backend and frontend servers are running.
2. Open your browser and navigate to `http://localhost:3000`.
3. Upload your resume and see the extracted skills.## API Endpoints
### POST /extract_skills
- **Description:** Extracts skills from the uploaded resume.
- **Request Body:** Multipart form-data containing the resume file.
- **Response:** JSON object containing the extracted skills.Example:
