# TRIO
> In music, a **TRIO** (an Italian word) is a method of instrumentation or vocalization by three different sounds or voices to make a melodious music or song. -- Wikipedia
**TRIO** is an ACM-ICPC team consisting 3 contestants of programming contests.
Founded in 2014 by three computer science students at [IUT](http://iut.ac.ir) (Isfahan University of Technology), the team is currently practicing, participating in different contests, teaching others and learning every day.
Although the team members has changed during the years, all of the past and current members of **TRIO** are always up for every cool challenges all around the world!
**TRIO** is and always will be proud of its members. Those who have made their and other's world, a better place to live. :)
## History
### 2014
##### 42nd IUT Local Collegiate Programming Contest - March 2014
The team name was **Pomposo**; An Italian word meaning *Proud* and *Affected*. The team had 2 members: [Alireza Omidi](https://github.com/alirezaomidi) and [Soroush Zargar](https://github.com/soroushzargar). Pomposo ranked **1st**. TRIO was born after this contest.
##### 43rd IUT Local Collegiate Programming Contest - April 2014
The second contest for TRIO. She ranked **3rd**. The third member was [Mohsen Biglari](https://github.com/mohsenbiglari).
##### ACM ICPC Asia Region - Tehran Site - December 2014

After months of practicing for the regional contest, TRIO finally was there. Having the opportunity to compete among the bests of Tehran site. At the end of the day, TRIO ranked **45th** among **101** teams, attempting 7 problems and solving 4 of them.
The team members were [Alireza Omidi](https://github.com/alirezaomidi), [Soroush Zargar](https://github.com/soroushzargar) and [Mahdi Fooladgar](https://github.com/professormahi) and the coach was Mohamad Amin Nikbakht.

3rd local programming contest for TRIO but now as the organizers.
##### ACM ICPC Asia Region - Tehran Site - December 2015

After a year of learning, practicing, competing and friendship for the members, TRIO was still trying for herself and her friends. The second regional contest was an unforgettable event. With a little taste of misfortune, she ranked **14th** among **78** teams, attempting for 5 problems and solving all of them.
The team members were [Alireza Omidi](https://github.com/alirezaomidi), [Soroush Zargar](https://github.com/soroushzargar) and Parinaz Nasr Esfahani. Their coach was Farideh Hoseini.
### 2016
##### 45th IUT Local Collegiate Programming Contest - May 2016
Like the 44th IUT LCPC, TRIO was in the organizer and judge team. One of the most happy and passionate contests of IUT, held in May 2016. Kung Fu Panda was one of the guests!
##### ACM ICPC Asia Region - Tehran Site - December 2016

After [Mehran Aghabozorg](https://github.com/mehranagh20) joined the team, a new journey began. A year full of practicing, led to a memorable contest. TRIO ranked **18th** out of **82** teams solving 4 problems.
The team members were [Alireza Omidi](https://github.com/alirezaomidi), [Soroush Zargar](https://github.com/soroushzargar) and [Mehran Aghabozorg](https://github.com/mehranagh20). Their coach was Mohamad Dehghan.
