## Features

* Runs Gmail right from the Taskbar (in Windows) or from the Menubar (in macOS).
* Remains active in the tray for quick usage.
* Uses Gmail's UI for mobile so it's best to use within menubar/taskbar.
* Cross platform
- Windows and macOS. On Linux, menubar [isn't working correctly](https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/6773).

## How To Use

To clone and run this application, you'll need [Git](https://git-scm.com) and [Node.js](https://nodejs.org/en/download/) (which comes with [npm](http://npmjs.com)) installed on your computer. From your command line:

```bash
# Clone this repository
$ git clone https://github.com/amitmerchant1990/correo

# Go into the repository
$ cd correo

# Install dependencies
$ npm install

# Run the app
$ npm start
```

Note: If you're using Linux Bash for Windows, [see this guide](https://www.howtogeek.com/261575/how-to-run-graphical-linux-desktop-applications-from-windows-10s-bash-shell/) or use `node` from the command prompt.

Download the portable version of Correo for Windows, macOS and Linux from [here](https://github.com/amitmerchant1990/correo/releases/latest).

## Correo?

[Correo](http://www.spanishdict.com/translate/correo) means "mail" in Spanish.
