# Userscripts
* WhatsAppOffline: A hack for the WhatsApp [web-interface](https://web.whatsapp.com) to disable the "online" status and the "message read" notifications (double blue checkmarks). Both can be individually re-enabled from the userscript extensions menu.
## Installation
1. Make sure you have user scripts enabled in your browser by installing one of these:
* [Tampermonkey](https://tampermonkey.net/) (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, ...)
* [Violent Monkey](https://violentmonkey.github.io/) (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera, ...)
* [Greasemonkey](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/) (Firefox)
2. Install by clicking here:
* [WhatsAppOffline](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ansiwen/userscripts/master/whatsappoffline.user.js)
## Updating
Userscripts are set up to automatically update. You can check for updates from within the Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey menu, or click on the install link again to get the update.
