# 🔬 Vein Scanner with Real-Time Vein Pattern Projection

## 🎯 Project Goal
The Vein Scanner with a mini projector is a medical device designed to visualize the pattern of blood vessels under the skin in real time. Its main purpose is to assist in medical procedures that require precise vein access, such as drawing blood, administering intravenous medications, or inserting cannulas—especially in cases where veins are difficult to locate.
## 🛠️ How It Works
### 1. **Vein Detection**
The device utilizes infrared (IR) technology to detect the vein pattern beneath the skin. This is achieved by exploiting the difference in IR light absorption between hemoglobin in the blood vessels and the surrounding tissue. An IR camera captures an image of the skin, and advanced algorithms process the data to highlight the vein network.
### 2. **Vein Pattern Projection**
Once the veins are identified, the processed image is sent to a built-in mini projector. The projector displays the vein pattern directly onto the patient’s skin at the puncture site, allowing medical personnel to see the exact vein location in real time.
### 3. **Portability and Convenience**
The device is compact, battery-powered, and portable—making it suitable for use in hospitals, clinics, and field conditions.
