**This is the third (and surely last) edition of AxOS.**

AxOS Hyprland Edition is an edition of AxOS with the Hyprland window manager. 

Hyprland is a sleek, dynamic tiling Wayland compositor designed for those who crave a minimalist yet highly customizable desktop experience. Its efficient performance and extensive configuration options make it ideal for both low-end and high-end hardware, offering a modern alternative to the older X11 protocol. Elevate your workflow with Hyprland’s dynamic window management and streamlined user interface.

Features:

* **Sleek bar:** The top bar is made with style and contains various things: System trays, music player, workspace navigator, clock, weather and more.

* **Performancew:** Hyprland is a lightweight window manager, so the performances are increased.

* **Animations:** Smooth animations have been added, making AxOS Hyprland edition a smooth and elegant distribution.

* **AI widget:** A widget is available with multiple AI chatbot providers: Gemini, Openai, Ollama, OpenRouter and more (not affiliated with any of these providers).

* **Tools:** Multiple tools are available such as quick scripts, a color picker, on-screen keyboard and more.

* **Gif wallpaper support:** Gifs are supported as wallpapers.

**The environement is a fork of [end-4's dotfiles](https://github.com/end-4/dots-hyprland).**

## Getting Started

### Prerequisites

THere is what you will need to install and use proprely AxOS:

* **A usb key** (or another external drive) of minimum **4gb** in order to install AxOS.

### Installation

AxOS can be installed like every other linux distributions:

1. Get the ISO

2. Flash your drive with the ISO

3. Boot on your ISO

4. Open system installer app

5. You know what's next (or not, but you will see)
