# new-public-commits

## Install
Requires [Node](https://nodejs.org/en/) version 6 or above.
```sh
npm install --save new-public-commits
```
## Use
```js
const {newPublicCommits} = require('new-public-commits')
newPublicCommits()
.then(console.log)
/*
only prints "public" commit types like "feat", "major" and "fix"
but no chores or non-semantic
[ { id: '93a77df4198fb8b7e7b5c4cc71bb5930037dd979',
message: 'feat(code): initial code',
body: '' } ]
*/
```
You can pass commit SHA to find all public commits after that commit
```js
newPublicCommits('4e5ff0...')
.then(console.log)
```
## Debugging
To see more debug messages, run with `DEBUG=new-public-commits` environment
variable
