# ily-virus
**ily virus is an on-chain infectious, inflationary, self-spawning nft experiment on [monad testnet](https://testnet.monad.xyz)**
**for monad community 💜**
## why i made it
[monad](https://monad.xyz) is so fast, decentralized, optimized and cute
but we generally use the same tools but applications that were developed for other [evm](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethereum#Virtual_machine) blockchains
and those tools are not good enough to enjoy monad's cuteness
i decided to make a virus nft experiment to spam the testnet and hopefully break many wallets and nft marketplaces
so in my optimistic future they would redesign and rebuilt themselves from scratch with a lot of optimizations
so we can get to experience monad's true speed and cuteness
ily monad community 🥰
## how it works
1. i got infected with ily virus after deployment 💜
2. i infected my friends with ily virus by transferring 🔄
3. transfers caused the virus to spread 🦠
4. whenever an infection happened all the infectors who directly or indirectly caused the infection receives more ily virus nfts 🥰
