The Checksum Repair Tool is a very simple portable program to fix checksums in corrupted Final Fantasy X (HD-Remaster) save files. 

Checksum fixes are required on the HD-Remaster after you edit your save file (e.g. with FFXED) or if it gets corrupted

some other way.
