# OSM Pipeline 

This tool was designed to run the [Maine E911 Address Import](https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Import/Maine_E911_Addresses#How_to_Respond) into OpenStreetMaps.

## Terminology

* Reference: An authoritative source of information that isn't in OSM yet

* Subject: Current data in OSM which is to be updated

* Conflation: The process of finessing two datasets together

* Most of `Data\StreetSUFFIX.json` was sourced from https://pe.usps.com/text/pub28/28apc_002.htm
