# dominsert
cross-browser insert adjacent html/element
## Installation
Install with [component](http://component.io):
$ component install bredele/dominsert
Install with [nodejs](http://nodejs.org):
$ npm install dominsert
## API
### insert(parent, child[, position])
Insert a node into the DOM tree at a specified position:
- beforeend (default)
- afterend
- beforebegin
- afterbegin
```js
var insert = require('dominsert');
insert(document.body, 'btn');
```
### insert.html(parent, child[, position])
Insert child string
```js
insert(document.body, 'btn', 'beforebegin');
```
`insert` avoids the extra step of serialization which make it much faster than direct innerHTML manipulation.
### insert.element(parent, child[, position])
insert child HTML element.
```js
insert(document.body, btn);
```
