## About

Lucafy is an open-source, web based, MERN stack, bookkeeping application

that uses double entry accounting. It lets you create journal entries, ledgers

and view trial balance and other statements.

## Getting Started

### Setup

- Clone repository

- Create `.env` file (use the `.envexample` for reference) and add your credentials.

- **Install Dependencies:** Run `npm i` in the main folder for *backend dependencies* and run the same command inside frontend folder for *frontend dependencies*

- Run `npm run dev` in the main folder
