Christmas Sweets is a cute Christmas blog theme with a grid layout that focuses on your latest posts. 



== Description ==

Christmas Sweets is a cute Christmas blog theme with a grid layout that focuses on your latest posts.

It has a footer widget area with room for all your widgets, and two custom widgets for recent posts and comments. 

The theme is responsive and also has support for header image and logo. 

Christmas Sweets will always be free for you to use and customize. 

You can ask for support or request new features in the support forum.



== Important Notes ==

The main menu supports 3 levels, while the social menu supports one level.



== Installation ==

	

1. In your admin panel, go to Appearance > Themes and click the Add New button.

2. Click Upload and Choose File, then select the theme's .zip file. Click Install Now.

3. Click Activate to use your new theme right away.

Added the required items to style.css.

Minor bugfix for one of the menu names.

Solved problems as requested by the accessiblity reviewer:

Improved visibility of the footer links (color change).

Improved visibility of the blog pagination (added border), and form buttons (added border).

Replaced the symbol between tags and categories with a comma.



Solved a problem with escaping.

Updated dates and tested up to.

Updated header image so that it can be reset to the default.

Added wp_body_open to the blank page template.

Updated author URI.

Added support for wp_body_open.

Code style changes to better match WordPress coding standards.

Fixed a problem with the custom recent comments widget.

Updated readme.txt file.

Removed blocks.css and added the block styles to the main style sheet.

Added gutenberg.css with styles for the editor so that it better matches the front.

Style improvements for blocks.

Added a footer link to the Privacy policy page, if one exists.

The custom Gutenberg blocks has been removed, since the WordPress.org theme review theme does not allow themes to add custom blocks.

The images are still in the theme if you want to use them.

Fixed two issues with custom excerpts.

Updated theme support for editor-color-palette.



= 0.4- January 19 2018 =

Added add_theme_support( 'align-wide' ) that was included in Gutenberg 2.0.

Minor style changes for full width and wide blocks.

Added links to the support forum and rating to the customizer.

Fixed a bug in the christmas_sweets_post_title function that would cause an error if WooCommere was not installed.



= 0.2- December 3 2017 =

* By request, featured images are no longer limited to the 5 latest posts.

* Stylesheet improvements for comments and for wide and full width images.

* Simplified how the soure of the images is added to the Gutenberg blocks.

* Added an empty alt="" tag to the images in the Gutenberg blocks.

* Made they keywords for the Gutenberg blocks translatable.

* Improved support for WooCommerce, including a new WooCommerce specific widget area.

* Updated readme.



* Added two new post and page templates.

 When using these templates, Gutenberg "Cover images" will always be in full width. This is because the width and alignment settings for the Cover images have not yet been implemented in Gutenberg (2017-12-03).

 ** Wide images -Use this template with wide or full width images. 

   This template removes the border, shadow, and background color around the content, since this was interupting the flow and feel of the page.

 ** Blank -Use this template if you only want to show your Gutenberg blocks. Does not show the header, footer, footer widget area or post navigation.
