# International Phonetic Alphabet Report

## Introduction

This NVDA add-on represents the International Phonetic Alphabet using braille dots.

Switch gesture: NVDA+Shift+P.

## Example

Word: go [ɡəʊ]  

Part of speech: verb  

Meaning: MOVE/TRAVEL  

If this add-on feature is enabled, when you review the phonetic content by character, NVDA will report the following:

* Braille 1 2 4 5

* Braille 1 2 6

* Braille 1 3 6
