# Sergio Sánchez
I've spent ten years working data jobs at places where there's always more data than people who know what to do with it. Right now I'm a data architect at a public agency in Alameda County. Before that, four years building data infrastructure at an EdTech nonprofit. I love mission-driven organizations that know exactly what they need and have no one to build it.
I've been running [tacosdedatos](https://tacosdedatos.com) since 2018, a newsletter and community about data and AI, entirely in Spanish, because most of the best resources in this space only exist in English. More than 20,000 people follow it.
Lately I've been building [Hey Maestro](https://heymaestro.app), an AI teaching partner for educators. It came out of a hackathon project where I built a pedagogical reasoning engine in a weekend and then realized the thing I actually wanted to build was the version individual teachers could use. That connects to [En Paralelo](https://enparalelo.org), an online course platform where I'm working on the problem I've always had with selling courses: I don't want to sell content to 100,000 people and pretend that counts as teaching.
All of this lives under [Brasas & Nube Studio](https://bns.studio). There's also [Relod](https://relod.app), an IoT system for food businesses me and @chicalidude are building, and [Fieldnotes](https://fieldnotes.my), a lesson design workbench, and a journaling system running on a Raspberry Pi with no screen, but that one's harder to explain in a sentence.
