# DASH

This repository contains the source for the DASH vault, a set of notes relating to data analysis best practice and techniques. The vault was created in and is best viewed in [Obsidian](https://obsidian.md).

## Contribute

To contribute to DASH:

1. Fork the [DASH](https://github.com/clarelgibson/dash) repository.

2. In the Obsidian vault switcher, select **Open folder as vault**.

3. Select the `/dash-vault/` subfolder. Don't open the root folder as a vault, as this may lead to links being updated incorrectly.

You can contribute in several ways:

- **Fix typos and mistakes**: If you want to fix a typo or other small modifications, you can submit a pull request. For smaller edits, you can use the GitHub web interface instead of cloning the repository.

- **Add missing or outdated content**: If you want to contribute missing or outdated content, please [submit an issue](https://github.com/clarelgibson/dash/issues/new) before you start working on it.

## Roadmap

The DASH vault is under development and will grow in line with my own learning. Ultimately, the vault will contain information and resources on the following broad topics:

- Data foundations

- Asking questions

- Preparing data

- Processing data

- Analyzing data

- Sharing data
