# About the project

I am keen to learn some basic machine learning techniques using some of the sample data sets on [Kaggle](https://www.kaggle.com). This project includes my workings for the [Titanic - Machine Learning from Disaster](https://www.kaggle.com/c/titanic) competition as generated by following [Kris Smith's](https://www.kaggle.com/code/krist0phersmith/) excellent, R-based [tutorial](https://www.kaggle.com/code/krist0phersmith/titanic-tutorial-in-r/notebook).
