# Wahlprogramm-Matrix

Show similar passages in election manifestos of different parties side by side.

An experiment by Daniel Kirsch, Martin Honermeyer, Tobias Bradtke, Yannic Schencking for Code for Münster on the Kommunalwahl 2014

## Install

You need ruby installed and then

    $ bundle install

## Development

    $ bundle exec middleman

## Deployment (on gh-pages)

    $ bundle exec middleman build

    $ bundle exec middleman deploy

## Data

Put markdown files into the `documents` folder and run

    $ rake

to generate `data/documents.json` (all the paragraph data), `data/important.json` (significant words per paragraph), and `data/distances.json` (the paragraph distances).
