= MiniDo: The Micromanagement Mini TODO CLI
Do you just really wanna micromanage yourself?
Or perhaps, someone really wants to micromanage you?
This is the main utility of "TODO" apps, but they all fail to truly optimize for that use-case.
Fear no more, MiniDo is here for you. This project strives to achieve the standards of a link:https://trivial.technology/landing.html[Trivial Technology].
== Usage
Whenever someone tells you to do something that you're not going to do right away:
`minido add the thing they said`
This way, when the question comes up of "what is on your agenda", you can easily answer with `minido list`!Whenever someone bothers you with some menial task that you *do* do right away:
`minido do the thing you just did`
This way, if someone claims you aren't making enough progress on your agenda, you can show them why with `minido list done`!
The entries that don't have a [date] section (but do have a [done date] section) are interruptions to your agenda, proof you weren't slacking! When you finish a task, you can move it from the TODO list to the DONE list with `minido done NUM`, where NUM is the current line no.
You can find out the line number in `minido list`!Finally, sometimes, tasks get dropped, permanently, before you've had time to finish them.
This happens often enough, that you have `minido rm NUM` for that!
That command is like the done command, but it doesn't actually add the entry to the DONE list.== Configuration
You can set the following environment variables:MINIDO_DIR:: the directory in which the default TODO and DONE files are in. Defaults to ~/todo.
MINIDO_DONE:: the file for the DONE file. Defaults to done.txt inside the minido directory.
MINIDO_TODO:: the file for the TODO file. Defaults to todo.txt inside the minido directory.
MINIDO_FORMAT:: changes the format of the date sections. Defaults to `%Y-%m-%d`. You are recommended to keep it grepable.== Installation
If you're using toasty-zsh, drop the .zwc file into `$zd/digests/`.If you're not using toasty-zsh, but are still on zsh, look at the bin/ file on how to autoload a digest.
If you are not using zsh, you can use the bin/ file after changing the path to the zwc digest.
