This is my personal portfolio website built with modern web technologies. The project showcases my skills, projects, and experience in web development.

## Getting Started
First, install the dependencies:

npm install

Then, create a `.env` file with the following variables:

## API Endpoints
### Chat API
- **Endpoint**: `/api/chat`
- **Method**: POST
- **Body**: `{ message: string, conversationId?: string, previousMessages?: Array }`

- Rate limiting (100 requests/hour per IP)
- Response caching with Vercel KV
- Context-aware conversations (maintains conversation history)
- Automatic language detection (Turkish/English)
- Fallback responses for offline/error scenarios

- Topic filtering (only answers about professional background)
- Smart keyword matching for common questions
### Visitor API
- **Endpoint**: `/api/visitors`
- **Method**: GET

## Deployment
The site is deployed on Vercel. Every push to the main branch triggers an automatic deployment.
### Environment Setup
1. Add required environment variables in Vercel dashboard:
- `OPENAI_API_KEY`: Your OpenAI API key for chatbot functionality
- `KV_REST_API_URL`: Vercel KV database URL
- `KV_REST_API_TOKEN`: Vercel KV API token
- `KV_REST_API_READ_ONLY_TOKEN`: Vercel KV read-only token (optional)
2. Configure KV database in Vercel dashboard
3. Set up OpenAI API key (required for AI chatbot)
### Note
- The chatbot works with fallback responses even if OpenAI API key is not set
- Rate limiting and caching are handled automatically
- All features work seamlessly in production
