# complex_bikepacking
Planning epic bike rides with complex modelling
This is an repository for notebooks and scripts for planning an record-breaking bike trip. Specifically, we want to answer the following questions:
* What is to best period of the year to undertake this project?
* What is the best riding strategy when taking into account the local and sazonal variations?
## Instructions
- Download the grid for wind speed intensity and directions through download_data.py
- Create the 'agg_ds.nc' summary dataset through scripts/grib.py
- Just run the main.py file
