# gbucket
A simple and fast golang library for weighted bucketing, which uses consistent hashing, to allocate buckets.
This can be used in load balancers to route traffic i.e weighted routing strategy, in multi-variant test to allocate a variant to users.
## Install
```sh
go get github.com/Dash-Abhishek/gbucket
```
## Example Usage
```sh
bucket1 := gbucket.Bucket{Percentage: 60, Bucketname: "A"}
bucket2 := gbucket.Bucket{Percentage: 10, Bucketname: "B"}
buckets := make([]splitter.Bucket, 0)
buckets = append(buckets, bucket1, bucket2)
allocs, err := gbucket.CreateAllocations(&buckets)
if err == nil {
bucketName := allocs.GetBucketAllocation()
fmt.Println("bucket", bucketName)
}
```
