# Chicago author-date BibTeX bibliography style file
chicago18ad.bst is a BibTeX bibliography style for the Chicago author-date (eighteenth edition) citation style.
The initial development goal is for the file to match as closely as possible the description of the style given at
https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide/citation-guide-2.html
This is the most recent (2024) edition of the Chicago manual of style.
My intention then is to carry on and implement the manual in full, or as far as reasonably possible.
I'm aware that some publications may request a Chicago author-date format without quotation marks around the titles of journal articles, book chapters, etc., and for these titles in Sentence case instead of Title Case. To that end, feedback and suggestions are always welcome. I have not overlooked the "notes and bibliography" version, although I think that might take me a little while yet.
