# The PitchMasters Club

Your thing works, it solves real problems.

You can't pitch it.

People's eyes glaze over.

You're not alone. **Most builders suck at pitching.** Including me.

The PitchMasters Club is where we fix that together.

---

## What Is This?

PitchMasters Club is a **free, asynchronous platform** for technologists who:

- Built something they genuinely believe in
- Pitch it terribly (we've all been there)
- Want honest feedback without the weekend-long hackathon pressure
- Are ready to get better at explaining what they made

This isn't Toastmasters. This isn't some generic public speaking course. **This is for people who ship code.**

---

## How It Works

### 1. Upload Your Pitch
Import your project from Devpost (or add it manually). Video, GitHub, live demo—whatever you've got.

### 2. The Audience Decodes
Real people watch your pitch and answer four simple questions:
- What does this do?
- What problem does it solve?
- Who is this for?
- How do you use it?

### 3. Discover the Gap
Here's where it gets uncomfortable (in a good way). You'll see exactly where people misunderstood what you built. **That gap between your intention and their understanding? That's what we're here to close.**

### 4. Revise and Repeat
Create a new revision. Try a different approach. Watch your accuracy score improve. Get better.

---

## Why This Exists

It's bullshit that people who smile and nod better get more traction than people who build billion-dollar profit engines.

Some founder with mediocre tech and great eye contact gets funded. You with an 11Labs killer app that's ready to deploy get passed over because you didn't "sell it right."

**We're fixing that by helping you fix that.**

---

## What Makes This Different

| Traditional Pitch Events | PitchMasters Club |
|--------------------------|-------------------|
| Scheduled meetings | Async—do it on your time |
| Generic topics | Your actual technical projects |
| One-shot pressure | Unlimited revisions |
| Judging | Decoding (no judgment, just data) |
| Industry gatekeepers | Real peer feedback |
| **Not free** | **Always free** |

---

## Who This Is For

- Hackathon builders who know they pitched poorly
- Open-source maintainers who can't explain their project
- Technical founders who get misunderstood
- Anyone willing to assume they're doing it wrong and want to improve

**Who this is NOT for:**
- People who think their pitch is perfect
- Anyone unwilling to hear honest feedback
- Folks who want to judge instead of decode

---

## The Philosophy

**Pitching is a skill separate from building.** And like any skill, it requires practice and feedback.

The problem with most feedback loops:
- They're too slow (wait for the next hackathon?)
- They're too vague ("good job!" or "needs work")
- They're too judgmental (judges vs. builders)

We do it differently:
- **Fast**—upload anytime, get feedback in hours
- **Specific**—four clear questions, clear gaps
- **Supportive**—audience members decode, not judge

---

## Ready to Join?

1. Import your project from Devpost
2. Watch people try to describe what you built
3. See where they got it wrong
4. Create a revision and try again
5. Get better at explaining what you made

**It's free. It's exclusive to builders. It's where you stop leaving traction on the table.**
