        ### Hi! 👋🏼

I'm Deepankar Chakroborty, but I usually go by '**Deep**'.

👨🏻‍🔬 I got my PhD in Medical Biochemistry and Genetics 🧬 while studying Cancer Genetics in Finland 🇫🇮.

+ 👨🏻‍💻 I code to analyze the data generated by my experiments on the lab bench 🧫.

+ 🖥 I heavily rely on **R** and **shell scripts**.

+ ⚙️ I like code-optimization (check out my [R Tips and Tricks](https://github.com/dchakro/benchmarkR/raw/master/results.pdf)).

+ 🌱 I am trying to learn how to use [Rust](https://www.rust-lang.org) and write faster functions in R.
