# Images Slider - Turbo Pascal - MS-Dos - 1992
[Cette page en français.](LISEZMOI.md)
These programs were developed in 1992 using [Turbo Pascal](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbo_Pascal) to display images in ART, NEO, PI1, PPP and RAA formats on VGA screens under MS-Dos.
Each program scans the contents of the current folder or the one passed to it as a parameter. They display the images found in a loop, with a delay of a few seconds between each one. To exit, press ESC.
It's possible that these programs are compilable with [Free Pascal](https://www.freepascal.org) but I haven't tried. Units not supplied can be found in the [DeveloppeurPascal/librairies-TurboPascal](https://github.com/DeveloppeurPascal/librairies-TurboPascal) repository. If any are missing, please let me know so that I can add them.
You'll find the binaries (8 bits) in the “release” folder. This is the September 19, 1993 version. You can only run them on an MS-Dos emulator, Windows 3.x or 95. There's no point in trying it on Windows beyond these versions.
Check out [my other open source projects in Turbo Pascal](https://github.com/DeveloppeurPascal?tab=repositories&q=TurboPascal&type=&language=&sort=) if you're interested in software archeology.
