# E-commerce Backend Application

## Introduction
This is a backend application for an e-commerce platform built with Java Spring Boot. It is designed to handle all backend functionalities such as user authentication, product management, order processing, and more using REST APIs.

## Getting Started

### Installation

2. Navigate to the project directory:
cd ecomm-backend
3. Configure PostgreSQL:
Ensure PostgreSQL is running.
Create a database for the application.
Update the application.properties file with your database credentials and URL.
Build the project:
mvn clean install
4. Run the application:
mvn spring-boot:run
The server should start on http://localhost:8080.

## API Documentation
Once the application is running, you can use Postman to test the API endpoints. Import the Postman collection provided in the repository to get started quickly with the available REST API endpoints.
