## Introduction
Welcome to Spendec, a revolutionary Web5 expense tracker app that empowers users with control over their financial data while providing comprehensive insights and personalized guidance. This project is developed as part of the [DevCareer Web5 Hackathon] (https://devcareer.io/programs/web5) by team FutureWeb and represents our vision for the future of decentralized financial management.
## Problem Statement
Traditional expense tracking apps often compromise user control over financial data, relying on centralized servers and lacking comprehensive insights. Spendec addresses these issues by leveraging Web5 technologies to ensure user ownership, privacy, and advanced financial features.
## Solution Overview
Spendec utilizes decentralized principles, employing Decentralized Identifiers (DID) for secure data access and Distributed Web Nodes (DWN) for decentralized storage. This ensures that users have control over their financial information, fostering a more secure and private financial experience.
